It has been a while since I last did a post, we have been very busy, and I just haven’t seemed to get around to doing one till now. I hope everyone is doing well this winter. We have been very thankful for the mild winter we’ve had so far. The cows don’t eat as much, the water doesn’t freeze up as often, and we can actually get a small amount of work done.
Our big project right now is getting our store ready. For those of you who don’t know, we have decided to open a store here on the farm. It will be in the house that my grandparents lived in. We plan on carrying not only our meat products but also other locally and Ohio raised and made foods. From vegetables, to bread, pastas, jellies, sauces and other products that you might like.
We plan on being in the building around the first of April. We will gradually add products as they become available. We are also planning on having a full blown grand opening around the end of May when we really get into full swing of things.
I would really like to Thank and commend the Colony Club in Gallipolis, Ohio, for the great job they have been doing using our grass fed burger. If you haven’t been there, or had one of our burgers there, you are really missing out on a great eating experience. They have recently start using our chickens, doing a roasted, half chicken dinner that is also delicious.
If you live in the Huntington area, our products are now also available at Wholi Moli in Barboursville. This is the only retail outlet that we serve, and they have the friendliest staff of any store we have been to.
We are also developing a small but devout group of customers in Columbus. If you live there, or know someone who does, guide them to our website and FB page and encourage them to contact us about getting our products.
